SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust Outperforms Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF

In the long term the SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust (SPY), which holds stocks, outperformed the Vanguard Total Bond Market ETF (BND) by a three-to-one margin.

The following table shows that a $1,000 investment made on November 28, 2014 in SPY is now worth $3,402 while the same investment in BND is worth $1,146.
