Monthly Recurring Investment Calculator: 2-Stage
This calculator helps you see how much money you can build up by making monthly investments. You enter how many years you'll invest, the annual return rate, and how many years you want your money to keep growing after you stop investing. You can choose a one-stage or two-stage plan. Note: Investments are made at the beginning of the month.
One-stage example:
You invest $1,000 at the start of each month for 20 years, earning a 6% annual return. After 20 years, you’ll have $464,351.10. There’s no second stage—you invest the whole time.
Two-stage example:
You invest $1,000 each month for 10 years at a 6% annual return. After 10 years, your investment grows to $164,698.74. Then you stop investing but let the money continue to grow for another 10 years at the same 6% rate. By the end of 20 years, you’ll have $294,950.37.
