Why Listen to Jim Cramer?Bad advice about stocks and investing is commonplace, but Jim Cramer of Mad Money seems to give out some of the worst. In March 2008 he made the following positive comments about Bear Stearns just before it collapsed: "Bear Stearns is fine. Bear Stearns is not in trouble. Don't move your money from Bear. That's just being silly. Don't be silly." YouTube video - March 24, 2008. In July 2007, he said that the subprime mess was no big deal: "If every loan in 2006 that was subprime blew up --- you would still not notice it. It has no relevance whatsoever." YouTube video - July 16, 2007. See more of his bad bets.
