Terra Nitrogen Pays Hefty Dividends

Terra Nitrogen Company, L. P. (TNH), a provider of nitrogen fertilizer products, this year has paid quarterly dividends of $4.45 and a $4.20, both record amounts for the company. And its stock price has appreciated 7875.84% (yes, that is correct) since 1999.

But TNH has a history of paying uneven dividends, so future dividends could fall dramatically. Still, the company is a candidate for a dividend reinvestment portfolio as long as you're willing to accept an very uneven dividend flow.
