Colgate-Palmolive Raises Dividend 20 Percent
Colgate-Palmolive
(CL), a
personal products company known for its toothpaste, raised its quarterly
dividend from $0.44 per share to $0.53 per share, a 20.45 percent increase.
The new dividend is payable May 14, 2010 to shareholders of record as
of April 26, 2010.
Colgate-Palmolive has paid uninterrupted dividends since 1895 and increased
its dividend to common shareholders every year since 1963. CL is a Dividend
Aristocrat, Dividend
Achiever and U.S. Dividend Champion.
