Dividend Yields of Bank Stocks Move Up With Falling Stock Prices

Because of the recent price decline in stocks, the dividend yields (annual dividend divided by stock price) of many banking stocks has increased. Here are five bank stocks with very attractive dividend yields: Citigroup (C), 4.50 percent; Bank of America (BAC), 5.40 percent; Regions Financial (RF), 4.60 percent; Wachovia (WB), 4.70 percent and Washington Mutual (WM), 5.80 percent.

Consider these stocks for a long-term dividend reinvestment portfolio.
