Are Semiconductors Ready to Move to the Upside?
The semiconductor group, as measured by the Philadelphia
Semiconductor Sector Index (^SOXX),
has been on the downside of a price cycle that peaked in July 2007. But
these cyclical stocks show signs of starting a new cycle, the fourth major
cycle since the tech bubble burst in 2000.

You can own the group with three exchange-traded funds (ETF):
Or you can own individual semiconductor
stocks. I (RAH) am nibbling at
two semiconductor equipment stocks - Kulicke & Soffa (KLIC)
and Credence Systems (CMOS).
