Knight-Ridder Jumps on Speculation It Might be Sold

After completing a multi-year upside Knight-Ridder (KRI), a large newspaper publisher, turned to the downside. But since November 1, 2005 KRI has jumped 18.2 percent on speculation the company might be sold. Despite the bounce, KRI is still on the downside so be careful with this stock.
