Enbridge Energy LP Pays a Rich Dividend

Enbridge Energy LP (EEP), a large crude-oil transporter, owns the U.S. portion of the Lakehead pipeline system that runs from Alberta, Canada to Chicago and points east. EEP also owns interests in natural gas pipelines.

A steady cash flow enables EEP to pay a rich dividend. As of January 20, 2005 the dividend is $3.70 for a yield of 6.96%.
