Duke Energy Pays Its DividendDuke Energy (DUK), a natural gas and electricity utility, has paid a dividend in good times and bad. Even as the stock cratered in 2001 and 2001, DUK paid its dividend. Its current price upside and four percent dividend make DUK a candidate for a long-term dividend reinvestment portfolio.
