Ciena is an Investor's Nightmare
Ciena (CIEN),
a supplier of communications-networking equipment and related software
and services, is an investor's nightmare. Since it peaked at $149.50 on
October 20, 2000, the stock has dropped to a mere $2.13 on May 10, 2005.
CIEN is a classic case of a price bubble that peaked at an extraordinarily
high price and then collapsed.

Of the 4,950 Complete Trading Model (CTM)
monthly buy and sell combinations from February 1997 to May 2005, only
1,294 (26.14%) were profitable. The CTM
percent returns chart shows the winners in green and the losing trades
in red.
