Commerce Group Grows Its Dividends

The Commerce Group (CGI) includes Commerce Insurance Company, Commerce West Insurance Company and American Commerce Insurance Company. The companies write automobile, homeowners, and umbrella insurance. The Commerce Insurance Company was founded in 1972 in Webster, Massachusetts and is now the largest provider of automobile insurance in Massachusetts.

CGI has been on a steady price upside since 1993. The company regularly increases its dividend which is $1.52, a 2.58 percent yield at $58.90.
